The first major outdoor event under the Land banner was the visit of the spectacular domed sculpture Arcazaar to Burnley’s Towneley Park in September 2004. Designed by Architects of Air, the sculpture attracted more than 3,000 visitors over four days and was an excellent opportunity to bring Land, Panopticons and the wider Regional Park programme to the attention of a large audience.
