In November 2003, Platform Gallery was host to an exhibition by artist Kate Lynch, celebrating the ancient art of willow-weaving. Since then, many adults and children across East Lancashire have attended artist-led workshops to learn this craft for themselves and have contributed to some permanent willow sculptures in the landscape.
