Burnley – story so far

One of the most ambitious and successful Land projects to date has been the collaboration with Forest of Burnley to develop the section of the Burnley Way from Towneley Park up to the Panopticon site at Crown Point, creating the new Wayside Arts Trail (click on the link below for more information and to download the trail leaflet). Burnley also hosted the visit of the spectacular luminarium Arcazaar to East Lancashire in September 2004, attended by 3,000 people. Follow the links below to read about these and other Land projects in Burnley, and find out where you can see Burnley’s new landscape features.
