Projects to date

Since 2003, Land projects across East Lancashire have encouraged people of all ages to engage with their environment in different ways, with lasting effects.

The growing legacy of Land can be seen in an increasing number of woodland walks and landscape features created by local people working with professional artists. Another part of the legacy is the documentation through photographs and recordings of many of the Land projects. Equally important are the events large and small which have brought people together to enjoy and celebrate their landscape and to learn more about its traditions and history.
